Do You Know Jesus?
When we ask this question, we are not asking if you know about Jesus. We are asking if you have a personal relationship with Him. This is an important question, because this relationship is the very foundation of life, and is absolutely necessary to meet the requirements of our Holy God. Every member of South Bay House Of God can say they know Jesus personally.

Having a relationship with Jesus starts with admitting we are sinners. Let's face it. We are human beings and we have all done things that violate God’s pure and holy standards. There is no way to be right with God on our own. We make a lot of mistakes, and the more we go our own way, the more we find ourselves in a great big mess. We need help. We need hope. We need a way to God.

That's where Jesus comes in. You see, all of our sin, our mess, our un-holiness, brings death. For us to die because of our own sin means being eternally separated from God. But He loves us so much that this is unacceptable with Him. God knows we can't deal with sin on our own. He came to this world and became a human being, only without any sin of His own. Jesus is not just some controversial historical character. He is God, who came to die in your place, as your substitute, so that you can escape sin and death. He conquered both sin and death by coming out of the grave three days later. Because of what Jesus did, you can have life and a personal relationship with your Creator that will last for all eternity.

So what now? Admit you are a sinner in need of the Savior and turn from your sin into His arms. Believe in your heart that He is the Lord and Savior, and that He died and arose for you. Ask Him to be your Lord and Savior, and receive His gift of eternal life by faith. You can't see Him with your eyes, but He is a REAL PERSON. So talk to Him like He is. That's what prayer is all about. Take this opportunity right now to speak to Him. Tell Him you want to know Him. He won't turn you away. If you would like someone to walk you through this, go to our contact page. If you have made a decision for Christ, come by and let us know, so we can celebrate with you!
